बरेली । रेलवे पुलिस ने कुख्यात अपराधी चंद्रकेश कश्यप को गिरफ्तार कर बरेली सिटी स्टेशन पर नाबालिग से बलात्कार और ट्रेन में लूट की घटनाओं का पर्दाफाश किया। 36 वर्षीय चंद्रकेश, जिसका आपराधिक इतिहास लंबा है, को 29 अप्रैल की रात बरेली जंक्शन प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर 5 से धर दबोचा गया। उसके कबूलनामे से पुलिस ने कई अनसुलझे मामलों को सुलझाया।
27 मार्च 2025 को बरेली सिटी में नाबालिग के साथ बलात्कार की घटना के बाद अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक रेलवे, लखनऊ के निर्देश पर विशेष टीमें गठित की गईं। सीसीटीवी फुटेज की मदद से चंद्रकेश की पहचान हुई। प्रभारी निरीक्षक परवेज अली खान की अगुवाई में पुलिस टीम ने उसे बरेली जंक्शन से गिरफ्तार किया।
चंद्रकेश ने बलात्कार के अलावा 22-23 अप्रैल की रात रामगंगा स्टेशन पर चलती ट्रेन में एक महिला की चेन छीनकर भागने की घटना को भी कबूला। इस मामले में चोरी के माल को बेचकर मिले 19,300 रुपये बरामद किए गए। उसने बताया कि वह नेपाल के कैसिनो में जुआ खेलने का आदी है और पैसे के लिए टनकपुर-बदायूं के बीच ट्रेनों में लूटपाट करता है। रात में वह यात्रियों को निशाना बनाता था।
चंद्रकेश का आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड पुराना है, जिसमें चोरी, लूट और एनडीपीएस एक्ट जैसे मामले शामिल हैं। वह उत्तराखंड के जिला चम्पावत के टनकपुर में रहता है मिल निवासी जिला कासगंज के मानपुर नगरिया थाना सोरों का रहने वाला है। उसे जेल भेज दिया गया। इस ऑपरेशन में निरीक्षक परवेज अली खान, उपनिरीक्षक विपिन कुमार, हेड कांस्टेबल सचिन कुमार, अर्जुन सिंह, हेड कांस्टेबल तौफीक रज़ा, रामकुमार सिंह, कांस्टेबल विनीत कुमार, प्रेंस कुमार जीआरपी नजीबाबाद
